I know these are pretty late, now that we are in December and the focus is on Christmas and all, but how could I not post these pictures of my adorable boy's first Thanksgiving? We had a great day filled with family and too much delicious food.

This kid has changed my world in every good way possible. 

The journey to becoming a parent was so full of joy, but also carried so many unknowns. And while there is much that we want to teach our son, I don't ever want to hold him to any standards, I just want to love him in whatever path he chooses in life. I can't wait to experience the adventures this little boy is going to take us on. 

The dreams of watching him grow and experiencing life in his own way is more than I can handle sometimes. Nothing can prepare you for the joy that being a parent brings.

I wake up each morning to a curious brown eyed boy anxiously waiting to nurse. I watch him grow and learn before my eyes. There's literally nothing that compares to being a mother. And oh my gosh, what a blessing a happy baby is. I was so in love with the name Isaac because of the meaning "laughter" and each day this little mister confirms that it was the perfect choice for him. 

My heart bursts with love for this boy & my loving husband.

I thank God for such a blessed life each day, even on the tough days.

Our life isn't at all perfect, but I completely believe that life is what you make of it.

Isaac's 6 Month Pictures

I can't even handle it.

We took our sweet boy to a studio this evening to capture his six month stage with a few professional pictures. I have very few baby pictures of myself since our home burnt down a long time ago and all of our pictures/videos with it. So I'm a little obsessed with making sure I have plenty of my little man. If I could take him each month, I would. Thankfully I have a nice camera and snap plenty of my own, but his half birthday is pretty deserving of professionals ;)

Since I found Isaac's Halloween costume a couple weeks ago, I brought it with us and I'm totally in love with his costume pictures! So darn precious. 

A few sweet photos

We spent Saturday evening celebrating the marriage of my oldest brother Mark to his longtime girlfriend of 7 years, Lynzi. The entire day was so much fun and the Wedding itself was gorgeous.

My handsome man & I. He had the honor of officiating the marriage, (his first time) and I was so proud of him! He did such an awesome job and so many guests stopped to tell us so all throughout the evening.

Her bouquet was so beautiful and unique. Covered in special charms and pictures from both of their parents and grandparents wedding days.

This is by far the best groom's cake ever. The picture speaks for itself!

The beautiful Bride- my new sister. She is such a lovely soul and I couldn't be happier to have her as a permanent part of our family now.

The night ended with the bride and groom riding off on a red scooter and they are now off spending their honeymoon in Jamaica, the first time my brother has ever agreed to step foot onto an airplane and probably the last.
